BOTOX® and Dysport® are FDA-approved neuromodulator treatments in the form of a protein derived from the Botulinum toxin. They work beneath the surface to decrease the muscle activity that leads to frown lines, crow’s feet, vertical lines, fine lines, and wrinkles. By reducing this muscle activity, the appearance of lines and wrinkles can be drastically reduced.

BOTOX® temporarily relaxes your facial muscles, which in turn reduces the look of moderate-to-severe dynamic facial wrinkles, such as forehead lines, frown lines and crow’s feet. Our experienced aesthetic clinicians are skilled at delivering natural-looking results that maintain your facial expressions, but without the creasing of wrinkles.

Jeuveau® is an FDA-approved neuromodulator treatment in the form of a protein derived from the Botulinum toxin. Jeuveau® works beneath the surface to decrease the muscle activity that leads to frown lines, crow’s feet, vertical lines, fine lines, and wrinkles.

Our experienced aesthetic clinicians are skilled at delivering natural-looking results that maintain your facial expressions, but without the creasing of wrinkles. During your consultation, one of our injectors will help determine whether Jeuveau® is the optimal treatment for your concerns.

The cosmetic improvements from BOTOX®, Dysport® and Jeuveau® will be first noticeable 3-5 days after treatment, with maximum impact seen in about 14 days. These effects last about 3-6 months, depending on the individual. Often, we see that less BOTOX® or Dysport® is required over time, meaning your costs may go down when you come in to touch up your results.

Neuromodulators are well-known for their ability to reduce facial wrinkles. Our injectors treat:

Those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a neurological disease should not be treated with neuromodulators.

As neuromodulators are non-invasive procedures performed in just minutes, no downtime is typically necessary. Most patients may apply makeup and return to daily activities immediately following treatment. We recommend avoiding heavy exercise or pressing on the treatment area in the first 24 hours after injection.

It’s quite common to augment results from a neuromodulator with a dermal filler. This combination of procedures has often been referred to as a liquid facelift for its rejuvenating effect. Based on your individual concerns and goals, we will provide recommendations during your consultation.

Coastal Medical Aesthetics exclusively treats with FDA-approved dermal fillers, most of which are composed of hyaluronic acid (HA), a natural compound found in skin that aids in maintaining its plumpness and elasticity. Over time, this compound breaks down, leading to decreased facial volume and a looser appearance to the skin.

Dermal fillers enhance the cheeks, chin, lips and other areas of the face for an uplifted, fuller and more youthful appearance.

We use a variety of treatments based on client goals and skin types, including:

• Restylane® Kysse, Defyne, Refyne, Lyft and Restylane-L®

Evolysse™ is a hyaluronic acid (HA) filler made using Cold-X™ Technology, a manufacturing process that relies on cold temperatures rather than heat. Because heat can alter the natural structure of hyaluronic acid, this cold-processed approach is designed to keep the HA closer to its original form, for results that move and feel more like the skin’s own tissue.

Evolysse™ is available in two formulations, Evolysse™ Smooth and Evolysse™ Form, both used to address dynamic wrinkles and folds, particularly nasolabial folds, the lines that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth.

Evolysse™ is approved for adults 22 and older who are bothered by smile lines or nasolabial folds, whether those lines showed up gradually with age or became more pronounced after a weight change. Patients on a weight-loss journey, including those using GLP-1 medications, often notice these new folds and hollows, and Evolysse™ is formulated with that specific concern in mind.

Depending on the filler formula you select, results from dermal filler treatment can last in the range of 6 to 18 months. We often perform maintenance treatments for our patients to sustain long-term results. While most patients notice an immediate difference after treatment, the full effect will be visible within about 14 days.

Because our dermal filler options are comprised of non-toxic ingredients compatible with the body, any side effects experienced by patients are typically mild and transient. These may include redness, discoloration or bruising at the injection site, swelling and/or bumps, tenderness, firmness, and itching.

Sculptra® is an FDA-approved injectable made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible substance safely used in medical applications for decades. Instead of filling lines instantly, Sculptra® gradually stimulates your body to produce new collagen, which helps restore volume and improve skin texture naturally.

Traditional dermal fillers, like Juvéderm® or Restylane®, add instant volume to smooth wrinkles and fill hollows. Sculptra®, on the other hand, works gradually over several months, using your body’s natural collagen to restore volume and firmness. This makes Sculptra® an excellent choice for patients who want long-term, natural-looking improvements rather than immediate, dramatic changes.
